Who is responsible
The publisher of neptunecasino.net, an independent UK information site about BetNeptune, is the data controller for the small amount of data described here. We are not the operator and run no gambling service. Contact: webmaster@neptunecasino.net.
What is collected, and why
Reading pages
Pages are static files delivered by a content delivery network. As with any web service, that network logs technical details of each request (IP address, time, page, browser type) to deliver the page and protect the service from abuse. We add no analytics, advertising tags, social widgets or fingerprinting of our own, and we do not profile readers.
Emailing us
If you write to us we keep your address and message for as long as it takes to deal with it, then delete them, unless we need a record of a complaint. We rely on legitimate interests, namely answering you, as the legal basis.
Following an affiliate link
Affiliate buttons go to an address on our domain which redirects to the operator with a reference showing you came from us. We receive no personal information about you from the operator; we may see anonymous, aggregated figures. The disclosure page covers the commercial side.
Cookies
neptunecasino.net sets no cookies of its own and embeds no third-party service that does. The delivery network may set a strictly necessary security cookie; cookies of that kind cannot follow you between websites and are exempt from consent under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations. The operator's site has its own cookie banner and settings, and the operator is responsible for those.
Sharing
Only with the services needed to run the site, namely the delivery network and our email provider, each acting only to run that service. Selling data is something we never do; handing it over happens only if the law compels us.
Retention
- Request logs: held briefly by the delivery network, on a rolling basis, to keep the service secure.
- Emails: removed once the matter is closed, except where a complaint needs a record.
Your rights
The UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018 entitle you to find out whether we hold data about you, obtain a copy, and have it corrected, erased, restricted or ported, or to object to how it is used. Age
The site is about gambling and is intended for adults. Nobody under 18 should be sending us personal data, and we do not seek it.
