Finding your way around

A left-hand menu lists the sports with live event counts beside each one. On our visit it ran to 52 entries, with football alone showing more than 1,300 events. Above the event list you will find a search box for teams and competitions, a "My teams" favourites panel, sections for upcoming and popular matches and competitions, boosted prices and a daily ready-made multiple. You can also narrow the list by time window, from the next 3 hours up to 6, 12, 24, 48 or 72, which helps on a busy Saturday.

Football, in depth

Football is where the market count climbs. One international fixture carried several hundred extra markets, organised in tabs: players, cards, corners, shots on target, fouls, offsides, throw-ins and woodwork, as well as match, halves, minutes, totals, handicaps and combos. The staples are all there too, such as double chance, draw no bet, both teams to score, team totals and goal lines from 0.5 upwards. The early-payout match result is the one market that is less common: it settles as a winner if your side goes two goals up at any stage.

Racing

Horse racing and greyhounds share a Racing tab, filtered to the UK and Ireland, with today, tomorrow and future races plus a results section. Each card shows the course and distance, the off time and the each-way terms, and for every runner its number, jockey and trainer, priced in decimal. The rules include a Rule 4 deductions table and each-way settlement rules. The promotions page has run racing specials, so it is worth checking on race days.

In-play

Under the Live tab, running matches show the score, the period and a clock. Open one and a match tracker with an animated pitch sits above the markets. As every bookmaker does, the operator warns that the on-screen score and clock are a guide only, so do not treat them as a live feed.

Betting tools

One rule links cash out and offers: cashing out a bet removes it from any offer's turnover count. If you are working through the welcome free bet, let the qualifying bet run.

Two general points are worth knowing before you place anything: bets struck at an obvious pricing error are void, and an accumulator with a void leg is settled on the legs that remain. Our view of the sportsbook

Market depth on football and the UK and Irish racing cards are the strengths; the tool set is on a par with a mid-sized UK bookmaker.
